The old way of running a video business is dying... do this instead

Happy Sunday!
Three years ago, I was obsessed with perfecting every video I delivered to clients. I had top-tier camera gear, spent hours editing cinematic shots, and poured everything into creating what I thought was the perfect product.
But then something happened…
My clients would post those videos on a YouTube channel with two subscribers or bury them on their website and months later say,
“We’re not really sure if we got a return on investment from that.”
It hit me hard. But it also revealed something crucial:
Businesses don’t want “videos.”
They want revenue. More customers. More growth.
That’s when everything changed for me.
I realized there are three buckets every business needs to make money from marketing:
Attention: getting eyes on the business (ads + content)
Leads: turning that attention into real opportunities (DMs, lead forms, followers)
Appointments: converting leads into booked calls so the business can close them
Most videographers only help with the first bucket and leave clients to figure out the rest.
But the truth is: 65% of the value is in buckets 2 and 3.
Getting attention is easy.
Turning it into leads and appointments? That’s where the money is.
And if you figure out how to deliver that full system, your business will change forever.
That’s exactly why the old way of running a video business is dying and why I made a 23-minute breakdown showing you what’s working now and how to pivot:
It’s time to build a video business that actually makes your clients money and makes you irreplaceable in the process.
