I burned $10k on ads last month....

Last month, I burned through 50 ad creatives and thousands of dollars.

The campaign tanked. Complete flop.

And it was one of the best things that has happened to my business this year.

Here's why:

Most people would've had an emotional response to the campaign failing by either thinking 2 things:

  1. Ads don't work for me - then they stop completely (staying stuck forever)

  2. I spent so much time on these ads, I'm just going to continue to run them (wasting money on something that isn't working)

Here's what I did - I paused the campaign after getting $5k in spend & I analyzed the crap out of everything.

What was working, what wasn't working, what's the bottleneck, what do we need to improve - that $8k gave me SOOO much insight into what we needed to fix.

And guess what we did? We spent all of last week and this week fixing everything we needed so we can relaunch everything on Monday.

That's part of the game!

Don't get so emotionally attached to things, look at your numbers & make logical decisions backed by intuition. And most importantly ask other people!

Don't be stupid and afraid to ask for help. I think that's one of the biggest things that held me back years ago - was asking for help. I wanted people to think I had everything figured out - but that is the stupidest thing in the world.

Ask for help!

So focus on these 2 things:

1. Kill Your Darlings (Remove Emotions)

Your favorite campaign, your "genius" creative, that strategy you've been pushing for months - if the data says it's dead, bury it.

The market doesn't care about your feelings. It only cares about what works.

Every successful business owner I know has a graveyard of failed campaigns. The difference? They killed them fast and moved on faster.

$8k in ad spend taught me more than $50k in courses ever could. Why? Because I looked at the data without emotion and made the hard calls.

2. Swallow Your Pride and Ask for Help

This one's harder than losing money on ads.

I used to think asking for help made me look weak. Like I didn't have my shit together.

You know what actually makes you look stupid? Losing money because you're too proud to ask someone who's been there.

I reached out to 3 people who've spent millions on ads. Got on calls. Showed them my data. Asked what they saw.

Their feedback? Priceless. Literally saved me from burning another $10k on the wrong approach.

Here's the reality:

The combination of removing emotions and asking for help will 10x your growth speed.

While everyone else is emotionally attached to their failing strategies and too proud to ask for help, you'll be iterating, improving, and scaling.

This Monday, we're relaunching with everything we learned. New creatives. New angles. New strategy. All based on data and expert feedback.

No ego. No emotions. Just execution.

That's how you win.
