Handcuff your clients so they never leave

Hey [First Name],
I just filmed a podcast with an entrepreneur who’s generated over $150 million online and one insight hit me hard. It's something I already believed, but hearing it from someone who’s played the game at that level made it even clearer:
Your offer should be so sticky, so valuable, that your clients can’t afford to leave.
That’s how you win long-term. That’s how you build a business that lasts years, not months.
Look, most people are trying to take shortcuts. “It’s too hard to fulfill.” “It won’t scale.” They’re thinking about problems they don’t even have yet. You don’t need to worry about fulfillment for 20 clients if you don’t even have 5.
Your offer should be so sticky, so valuable, that your clients can’t afford to leave.
Not just because they like you. Because leaving you would cost them time, money, momentum, results.
Sticky offers live in one of two categories:
Time Loss – If they stop working with you, they’d have to rebuild systems, retrain a new team, or redo processes from scratch. That’s months lost.
Money Loss – If they leave, they lose the exact strategies or deliverables that directly drive revenue. That’s not a “maybe” - that’s measurable, repeatable income loss.
The best businesses build both.
You don’t want to be “another vendor.” You want to be part of the revenue engine. You want your client to look at their spreadsheet and go: “Yeah…we literally can’t drop them. They’re tied to the growth.”
That’s what I mean by sticky.
Forget “convenient.” Forget “great service.” Those are baseline. Your offer should feel like a golden handcuff - they’re not staying out of guilt or habit. They’re staying because leaving would hurt.
Hormozi says it best: Do the unscalable. That’s where the moat is. That’s how you build something real.
If you’re a videographer, content agency, or creative and you want to make your offer so good clients would lose time and money by leaving you, I just made a video walking through:
What to offer
How to offer it
How to make your business unshakeable
